I thought we played quite well and Stoke having gone down to 10 ten felt optimistic for the win then.....Jack Walton make a complete **** up on what looked like a relatively harmless cross. However he has been playing well and he will be well aware of his mistake. We looked dangerous in the second half from both wings but the crosses I to the box never fell to our players. However a much improved performance and I feel our first win will come soon. C O Y Reds!!

I think the subs lost us our momentum. I don't rate Thomas on last nights cameo.

We always hope that subs make an impact. Whoever the manager is he can't always get it right but it's great when they do and the players coming on and provide assists or goals. Last night it didn't come off at all.
Brittain being taken off was the worst of the three. He always looked likely to create while Schmidt never got a schniff.
Kane replaced Palmer and did ok but I thought Palmer had played well.
Thomas on for Simoes - big mistake! I know Simoes is still a bit raw but he took his goal well and that will have given him confidence. I'm afraid Thomas is showing nothing for us and is really struggling to justify that million pound fee we paid for him.

I think we should try Chaplin out wide instead of Thomas.

I know some fans seem to think Thomas will come good but he had more than enough chances last season to prove himself. For whatever reason he’s just not good enough.
