Yes it was a mistake. Tried to kick it out of the ground instead of just tapping it out for a throw in. Thought he was having a reasonable game up until then.
And bollocking, sick to death of his errors. He's made 50 appearances at this level now, he's not ******* inexperienced anymore, that excuse no longer washes.
Dead on mistake both in his decision making and in execution. If they want 3 at back maybe Halme, Helik either side of Solbauer.
Helik lost his man. If anyone is to blame it’s Helik. Just so happens Cooper then goes on to have a free header with Anderson closest to him. That’s not Anderson’s fault unless you are expecting him to mark two men.
Yep Helik lost his man. For some reason we had Chaplin lined up against the 2nd biggest defender who loses his man too who gets the run on the ball watching Anderson. Matty James also blocks Walton’s view I think which is probably why he doesn’t get down in time to save it. A bit of a comedy of errors. Just a shame we gave the corner away so cheaply in the first place.
When I played, the first thing you did at a corner was to make sure we had a defender on each post , this does not seem to be the way in the modern game ,but the number of times I watch goals go in what could have prevented is unbelievable & Millwall"s goal would have been stopped .
