Absolutely useless. Couldn't hot a barn door. He should be sat in front of the back four

He's definitely capable of those type of goals, should give his confidence a big boost.

Hes on 2 goals or assists in 3 since Ritzmaier's dad left which is roughly on a par with the 1 assist or goal he got in the 31 championship games prior to struber bringing sh1tzmaier in.

1 in 3 championship goals or assist prior to struber moving him to a defensive position to fit ritzy in. 2 in 3 since Struber left.

    Coincidence?

The cynic in me probably thinks it's to do with a move in January or next season

He's definitely capable of being a quality player and it's in his interests to show it now that his contracts running down.

Mowatt has always put the effort in, he's barely missed any game time.

I really hope now his mates signed a longer contract that he'll follow suit.

I might be being completely thick here but if, as you suggest, he's suddenly trying harder now to get a move in the next window why was he not doing previously when the transfer window was actually open?

Makes absolutely no sense at all to deliberately play sh.i.t until the window closes then suddenly try really hard when you can't legally move.

Lovely strike that, I thought at the time that he had gone too far to the left when he chested it down, but then WOW! :)

Who said he deliberately played **** ?
Do you not agree that the next contract he signs will be affected by how well he performs for the rest of the season ?

Rats says that the cynic in him thinks he's suddenly playing better because he wants a move in January. If he's choosing to play better it logically means he was choosing not to play his best previously.

As I said. Where's the logic of waiting for the window to close before suddenly trying to earn a move? Absolutely none at all

Cynical I know, he may have realized he may have to push a little harder to get a move .Dane mentioned that there had been a few inquiries for alex ,but they never got past that stage, .just a thought or maybe because new coach was sat watching

Or it could be because in the 31 games prior to struber making him sit in front of the back four so Ritzmaier could play he got a goal or assist 10 times in 31 championship games?

He had a lean spell under a crap manager who's stubbornness and favouritism meant we didn't see the best out of our key players

Was half expecting it to fly miles over. I love Mowatt but his shooting has been very poor for a while now.

Today’s goal was a fantastic strike. Just a pity we couldn’t hold out until half time at least.
