Have been reported to the council for inadequate social distancing measures. It would appear Penistone Church have also had a similar issue. Lots of support for Bridge on twitter with people saying they've been in attendance at matches and the club are doing all they can with signage, one way systems, track and trace, masks etc but your also reliant on people adhering to the rules.
Wouldn't it put it past the council coming down heavily on them while at somewhere like Asos they can do what the hell they want...

I drove past Worsbrough bridge during a match recently and there was absolutely no social distancing, just a big crowd stood watching.

BUT. And this is the biggest of big buts. The crowd was outside the ground on the main road looking in over the wall because inside WAS socially distanced.

I wonder if this is what some idiot has reported then for? And if it is can the club really be blamed for people standing on the public highway?

The club follows the rules and that is all they can do. If people in the ground don't social distance then are they expected to go tell them and risk being brayed?

If this is the bench mark, then we need to be reporting all the supermarkets for lack of social distancing inside their stores. We've all got to eat but some of the scenes are absurd.

You get to queue to enter, then once inside it's bloody mayhem. People going this way and that, Not enough room to pass down the aisles etc etc.

I can't wait to get out of the place ss soon as I get inside

Same person who's reported both clubs apparently, I can't watch games on TV, does my box in so I've done some ground hopping the past month or so Hemsworth, Parkgate, Hallam, Albion Sports and Emley tomorrow, every club has adhered to the rules IE seats taped off, temp check, track and trace, hand gel. I know some volunteers up at Penistone who are going above and beyond in their own time after work to make sure everyone can watch the game and feel safe, if you felt you wasn't safe why wouldn't you let someone know at the time, every club has a COVID marshall to assist

There’s some real wing nuts about.
Someone reported Bruce Dyer to the police for having 1 on 1 coaching sessions!
    What’s the world coming to?

Don't know fella but it's ridiculous, it's not the club's fault. They are restricting numbers and sending out regular announcements on match days regarding social distancing but they can only do so much!!

What a pompous pillock that Councillor is. Why isnt he mouthing off about all the supermarkets, who get far bigger crowds than the Brig EVERY DAY and whose social distancing is non-existent? And in any event the club IS complying, it's the customers who aren't.
