You’ve badmouthed me and mine saying sarcastically that I ‘didn’t get long enough off’ and complaining that I still got full pay (of peanuts as support staff btw) whilst still doing my job full time through a blend of online work and in school supporting bubbles - including through the holidays when I’m employed term time only. So if you’re going to say that about me then I’d be well within my rights to say that your daughter has been non stop on the lash. I’ve had plenty of friends and neighbours telling me about students going out getting drunk and spreading Covid around and seen it myself when driving though Headingley. Are you going to take my ‘fooking head off too’, hard man?
Jamdrop,it wasn't an attack on you personally and I did say that (as with students) there’ll be some who played the game as well as some (where the media focus is) who haven't. I don’t understand why teachers are offered a discount at Morrisons (whilst on full pay) whilst those on furlough or unemployed have to pay full price. Donnys reply offered nothing factual to challenge my opinion other than to reference my family and attack me personally. I’m no ‘hard man’ but he wouldn't speak to people face to face how he responds to them from behind his keyboard. It’s not just me. Just to clarify do you just want to hear your opinions coming from me or can I post my own ? It’s just that I often wonder as alternative opinions/views are so often met with abuse and ridicule.
1. The 'science' behind Saturdays strictly come depressing by Messers Doom,Gloom and Bozo will never get released given how ridiculous it is. Neil ferguson says the imperial college wave is based on an 'R rate of 1.3- 1.5' and there being no improvement from the results of the Tiering system. 2. The PM will not allow an indepent parliamentry body to scrutinise the modelling and science. 3. There will not be a published exit strategy. It will be on the whims of Sage and Public Health. 5. Schools will get closed. And infections bottom out. 6. The vote will be to lock down until 2nd December. Itll pass due to Labour propping it up. 7. Labour will not provide any scrutiny to the Government. 8. The biggest killer of men under 45 will be suicide 9. Cases are already dropping. Independent research suggests the mythical R Rate is already close to if not below 1 within areas of local lockdown. 10. There will be a vote to release the lockdown before the 2nd December. Lockdown will be extended to the end of the Christmas break. 11. Over a third of private SME's will not see next Christmas. 12. Mental Health through out the UK will be devestated. No face to face social interaction. No knocking about with your mates be it kids in the park. No ladies who lunch. No beer monsters. No family time. 13. The NHS will not get overwhelemed by COvid. 14. Itll be announced that Flu has been cured 15. Someone on here will still say its worth it.
https://public.tableau.com/profile/...oronaviruscasesKirklees/PublicFacingDashboard In Kirklees we were going to tier 3 but it got cancelled so we are in tier 2 until the lockdown. The evidence above shows that we were seeing a steep drop in infections with the 7 day average and yet we were getting moved to a tougher tier. 'Science' needs looking at because the decisions don't fit evidence.
