I'll try and find it again. I'm not saying it's true, just a worrying report. You've got to expect the Republicans to claim mail voter fraud when the Dems just drop 100,000+ votes in one count on it's own too. I can see Biden leading in PA and all votes that arrived after election date being destroyed and taken from the numbers. If this rumour is true then PA would only have themselves to blame.
Another voter fraud story is that Wisconsin has had 3.2m votes when there's only 3.6m registered voters. That's over 89%+ turnout and 21%+ up on four years ago. If any of these stories are true then this is going to rumble, and rumble big, for days, weeks, months. Nightmare
It's been happening all night though, in that votes get misreported for individual candidates and then corrected. Not saying that's what happened here, but it's something to keep in mind. Some of the stuff Trump is banging on about is misleading though, showing a large jump where it goes from R to D as fraud, when large jumps have been constantly happening
I'm not saying what Trump is saying is correct. I just think there's a lot more to the voter fraud concerns than it just being screams and shouts. Credible people (as I'm not classing Trump as one) were genuinely worried there was a risk, so you've just got to hope that some of these rumours surfacing are disproved quickly.
Funny that Trump told his supporters to vote in person rather than by post and is then surprised that most of the postal ballots are dem Bernie called it.
I think Trump is shitting himself now and all the toys are starting to fall out of the pram. He is a bad loser and hardly a surprise given how frequently childish he shows himself up to be.
None of them are true. Proving that is a different matter, particularly with the SC stacked in favour of Lord Dampnut.
If it goes to the court there would have to be irrefutable evidence of corruption for the judges to overturn an election decision. The courts couldn't intervene based purely on suggestion from the opposing party. So by my reckoning, there would need to be evidence of foul play, perhaps multiple votes from single people or perhaps mail in ballots posted by people who died years ago.
This tickled me... Could it possibly be they're from people who voted for Biden?? Wild theory, I know.....
I'd say the polling in Wisconsin is about right, huge turnout for this election. Looks like Biden won the state as well only a few more to count (pending validation). Georgia could get very interesting and I can hear the lawyers rubbing their hands together on that one. Winning margin would undoubtedly be under 0.5%. PA is a mess, what happens when two parties can't agree on a method of voting and counting. Nevada and Arizona again 2 states where the winner wins by less 1% of vote. I really wanted Lindsey Graham unemployed after the election, shame that won't happen..
I don't think Trump gets this election lark at all. He seems to be struggling with the concept of counting all the votes.
Just out of interest..... It is evident that many people on this board hold strong socialist leanings and that, in particular, there seems to be a lot of vitriol towards Donald Trump. Given that you are politically-minded I'm assuming that most of you would believe in upholding the sanctity of the vote and the election process. I'm not saying that he is, but hypothetically if Donald Trump was right about there being election fraud in favour of the Democrats, would you justify to yourself allowing your dislike of the man to 'trump' the right of the American people to have a fair (fraud-free) election result?
After 2000 the arguments Trump's made early this morning and by Twitter (jesus) won't hold water. He can't cherry pick which states keep counting and which have to stop. Oh and doesn't have the power to, in publicly kicking off he's exposed his argument and undermined his case. I'm sure his legal people would have told him to keep quiet, but Trump be Trump. There will I think be recounts but looking at the process it all seems above board. The only thing that would invalidate the election in my view is if hundreds of thousands of votes had been changed by foreign or domestic actors electronically.
They are saying in Michigan that for every Trump vote there's two Biden votes when counting the mail-ins.
If he's right I'd be disgusted and support his stance. Law and order and all that. Trump either didn't listen in civics class or never read up on the process, or he's deliberately trying to stir things up. Remember many states have been told by Republican lead legislators that they couldn't count vote early. That's why there's a delay and the huge turnout for both sides.
