A decent break for big Val to get some more good training sessions in with the lads. As it stands I would keep the same starting line up as today.

    ...............Walton.............

    ..Sol.......Helik.....Andersen....

    Brittain..James..Mowatt..Styles..

    .....Chaplin.......Freezer.......

    ...........Woodrow..........

    subs
    Collins
    Odour
    Palmer
    Victor
    Kane
    Simoes
    Halme

Styles and Brittain first names on team sheet imo. Great result today and a brilliant goal from victor. I was a bit skeptical about him but hopefully he proves to be an handful and bags a few more.

Jordan Williams not even making the bench?

I think he’s had some cracking games but after a few games he’s missed where does he fit in? He won’t start, and with those on the bench that can play in multiple positions or have also been brilliant when called upon it’s difficult. Maybe swap him for Simoes?

I would probably give Adeboyejo a go up top after his goal.
Im not his biggest fan but would love to be proved wrong.
I just don't see a goal threat at all in Freiser.

I think we should have signed the kitchen sink instead.

I’m not particularly a fan of Frieser but his recent performances have been better than at the start of his spell.

And to be fair he’s scored as many as Adeboyejo has.

Williams can play in either of the wide centre half positions or as a wing back on either side too.

I’m not sure I’d have him back starting (if anywhere probably as the left centre back though I’d be reluctant to change the back three at the moment), but given he covers at least four positions he walks into the matchday squad and into the bench at the very least.

I was a big critic of his but his performances this season in every position have been great.

I can’t see victor doing too much as a starter, but may offer that bit more as a sub like yesterday. I think freezers work rate isn’t bad but not too much of a goal threat but feel he might sneak a few more throughout the season.

The only changed I'm make from that is to play Jordan Williams as part of the back three instead of Anderson or Helik. Doesn't matter which one, as both have a mistake in them. Williams improved so much as part of the back three that I think he deserves to take his place back - if fit obviously.

Frieser will be this seasons Brad Potts, Goran Lovre or Bahre. You struggle to see what he brings to the team but he gets picked every week.

Agree mate, if Williams is to get back in the team it will be in the back 3. It just doesn't look quite solid at the back all the time. A few occasions yesterday all 3 centre backs on same side of pitch leaving attackers on other side free for the pass and subsequent shot on target. Looking better than last season but still plenty to work on in training

    J. Williams for Styles.
Williams is a better and safer player in that defensive position.
    Try Thomas for Frieser.

We look like a steady Championship team with our best 11. We need to add more quality in January to push on. For now just enjoying the win and taking every game as it comes.

Don't really understand the criticism Frieser has been receiving. He's new to this league and although he hasn't looked a world beater, he hasn't looked out of place. Works hard, rarely gives the ball away and has a goal and assist to his name. Also offers a bit more physical presence to the front three.

Yeah he has scored as many as victor but he has featured in almost every game this season. Starting most so you would expect him to be miles infront of victor who's made a few sub appearances. I havent been calling for.victor to play after his loans spells but some players get alot of chances when they dont play well ritzmaier, bahre two for example, victor will have to keep working hard and if freezer doesnt make more of a impact in games I'm sure he will get his chances. He has gone above schmidt and miller with that goal.

Nudge is probably dropping Mowatt for Styles - just wait for it.

Would only be 10/10 if we didn’t all know that it was a wind up. Needs to up his game.
