Seems to have been found guilty of bullying by an independent inquiry Inquiry 'found Priti Patel broke behaviour rules' https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-55007122 I’ll wager that absolutely no action is taken .
Pointless investigation concludes bears sh 1t in woods. The report will remain buried and at best she’ll get a slapped wrist. We can no longer expect ministers to behave properly.
Exactly! if there was even a minuscule chance it was gonna be acted upon, it’d already have happened.
Boris sat on this for months, well it's anti bully week..... So what do the Tories do? thumb their noses to the people of Britain once again. Do what we say not what we do! The women is only capable of dishonesty she doesn't have a back bone either. She likes to bully weak office based officials, she and her people never want to meet the rank and file. I'd love to she her trying to bully some of my colleagues. She'd be promptly told to take a dip in one of many ports cold waters.
Anyways if I'm short of a bob or 2 I'm getting in touch with Sir Phil Rutnam. His employment tribunal will be a slam dunk.
I wonder which former special adviser to the PM whose just left his Downing Street job under a cloud is slant mouths source and will any more info be forth cumming
Nothing will happen. It will be buried by some other Government sound bite about 'saving Xmas for the great British public' or some other such ********. Something 'positive' will be announced soon. Watch.
Correct. Along with comments from the apologists like "Move on with this", or "It's a non story. They're all the same".
Can we laugh at Ben Bradley too whilst we're here? Christ on a bike. To be fair, you can probably edit the thread title to "The Why We Hate Tories Thread"
Patel is a truly odious person like others in this present Government. They honestly don't give a stuff about anybody but themselves. When I worked, I used to deal with a top exec for Shell Oil. He lived in Windsor having attended Eton in his formative years. He reckoned for those intending to go into politics in their adult life, there were special tutorials to show how to deal with adverse criticism. Quite simply, as the saying goes " the best form of defence is to attack." I was minded of that particular mantra on Tuesday , whilst listening to Johnson's reply to Keir Starmers accusations during the virtual Prime Ministers Question Time session over the awarding of contracts to what appeared to be, the cronies of the Government during the initial PPE shortage. Nostrils flared with an absolute look of raw aggression, he attacked Starmer for his attitude and said that the correct protocols had been followed and that the main priority was to secure the relevant supplies whilst implying that it didn't matter where those supplies had come from. It's now emerging that numerous of the suppliers concerned have indeed got close links to Government Ministers ( Gove in particular was mentioned) and as a result of the contracts they were awarded, are now millionaires. It's to be hoped a full enquiry could be held, but I'm not holding my breath.
I may be wrong but someone once told me that this nasty piece of work called Patel lives somewhere in the Bretton/Newmillerdam area.
