43 inch tvs and Speaker for living room to connect to Spotify? I’m no techno geek, and whilst I don’t want cheap tat, I don’t want to spend a fortune. We only really use the TV to watch sport - mainly football, but the speaker would probably be used alot for music and radio - especially if there are good multi room deals. It’s 10 years since we bought either, and the systems we have are not much good.
Some good advice here, I bought the hisense one, for the price it’s cracking and I’m quite happy http://barnsleyfc.org.uk/threads/new-tv.291672/#post-2498661
Pretty much the best out there, for under £500 Samsung UE43TU8500 For soundbars under £400, look at Sonos Beam and Yamaha YAS-207
I use hisense for tvs and Sonos for speakers. Would recommend both. The Sonos beam is brilliant imho - incredible if you link to a sub. otherwise richer sounds are really helpful just go in there give them your budget and they will be very honest plus sell quality gear at excellent prices
Got a couple of Beams and really like them. Was going to upgrade one to the new Arc but not sure it's needed given the price.
Make sure you reserve some of your budget for some noise cancelling headphones, so you can blot out the sound of people eating nearby...
Yeah I was tempted but reviews are patchy - if you’ve not got one , I would save your cash and use it on the sub, brill for both films and music
Sonos beam take the 75 off and it’s 325 https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Sonos-Beam-Soundbar-Black-/233585717545?_trksid=p2349624.m46890.l49292
I didn't get a sub, but got a couple of Sonos Ones to pair with the lounge Beam for a 5.0 surround setup.
I've got 2 Sky Soundboxes and for the money they are great. My 2nd one cost £100 off Facebook Marketplace from a sky engineer, i only use them in the spare sitting room and bedroom
Look at AVforums..... https://www.avforums.com/threads/new-my-best-value-tvs-2020-2021-edition.2325951/
Should be able to if the HiFi has a Bluetooth receiver. I bought a new amp a couple of years ago, connects to WiFi so connects to apple devices via Airplay or my PC via DLNA, also use it for the TV on an optical connection, and the turntable via phono.
