To control the ball on the outside of his foot, first time, with power and pin point accuracy was worthy of any level of football

    what a hit.

    Splendid!!!!

A superb clean strike, but I think he needs to do it more than one to be declared the next Steven Gerrard.

"Splendid". Have you been hanging with George Spicer after the match?!

They're too close for comfort those two.

As for the goal, have I imagined seeing a reverse angle? In my head I have a view of it from behind the goal but I'd had a few cans and ifollow don't usually do that. The goal I'm remembering viewed from that angle was stunning but I'm not absolutely sure it's something I've seen or a fantasy.

    We won 2-0 right?

We won. I've woken up with that winning feeling. As Colin on Quest said, Barnsley are full of vim and vigour!

There's an angle on sky from behind Styles, but I've not seen it from behind the Ponty End goal. However, I've also been completely plastered since it went in and have only just woken up.

Me too mate with regards a few beers, if I’d been sat in my usual seat in the ponty then through beer goggles I’d have tried convincing everyone in earshot that he must have hit that from about 60 yards :D

It was a sublime, tracer bullet strike, Neil Thompson-esque straight in the top right hand corner of the Ponty end :):)

It was that good their goalie was celebrating! lol (made that bit up :))

I’ve seen it a few times it was a great hit but I’m not sure if it had a slight deflection on its way through

Reminded me of Barnards goal against Spurs in the FA Cup all those years ago. Tremendous strike.

Nah he's better than that. He's good enough to be the next Ian Banks.
