22 years today, and still the volley from Darren Barnard is the best goal I've seen scored at Oakwell

Still disappointed we didn’t score at least 10 - missed pen and hit woodwork three times

Greedy! But I know what you mean, it really felt like every attack would lead to a goal.

wouldn’t make the top 500 in terms of importance but for quality ....just wow!

oh dear. Bet you were gutted. Well, can I help? It was a truly great game. Honest. Pity you missed it really. Still, if you were watching on TV you would have Alan Brazil talking ******** to keep you company. HTH.

    Could be worse.

You could have gone to the game, and decided to go for a piss when he scored it.

Was watching it at Uni with a Huddersfield supporting mate who went white as a sheet at 3-0 - He left at half time - after paying up for our bet of a few pints of Guinness.

I worked with a guy who was a massive 'Terriers' fan. He told me " It was bloody purgatory, we wanted to leave at half time but the stewards wouldn't open the gates to let us out. They said you've got to stop and watch the 2nd half".

Being in a Huddersfield high school at the time I was gutted we drew the second half 1-1 as I wanted double figures :D I did bring in the following Monday a load of cans of 7Up to give Town fans who thought it was a nice gesture as they didn't get the meaning until it was explained.

The only other thing as outrageous as that (i mean look at the angle!) was Sinclairs overhead kick at QPR in the cup.

I know, they're amazing. Goals that are talked about more than 20 odd years ago, don't come around very often
