we could have 100 corners and not score

Everytime we get a corner we take the pee and all shout 'this time'

Nothing to do with the delivery. Hourihane could be taking our corners and we'd still be heading them into the stands.

There's seemingly only Halme who dares attack anything with his head from set pieces, but he's out of the team at present. Andersen and Sollbauer offer nothing from them.

Whilst agreeing that we are poor from corners and that it's an area that needs addressing, I should also point out that we have scored from one this year - Helik's header v Bristol City.

I think we looked more threatening from them than we have done in years against Blackburn. There were quite a few really nice routines.

Set pieces are still a weakness, but it's been obvious recently that we've started to work hard on them, and I wouldn't be surprised to see us start to score more as the season progresses.

Funnily enough, after the draw with Bristol City there were complaints that we couldn't score from open play. Now there are complaints that we don't score from set pieces.:D

We did look more dangerous, and created chances. Problem is, we missed them. Both Anderson and Adeboyejo should've scored from set pieces.

It's odd isn't it. Helik has a great goal record, I'm presuming they're mainly goals from corners as well.

Could be wrong but I thought the video released when Mads was signed showed some goals from his attacking the ball from corners.

Yes Birmingham are arent they :)
To be fair we actually looked like scoring from corners against Blackburn - something that hasn't looked likely for most of the season so we may well score from one or a free kick tonight - I wouldn't have said it was odds on though.

Yeah I believe so. I only used Helik as the example because I remember thinking when we signed him that his goals per game ratio is about the same as Jacob Brown's.

May need to worry abart defending corners and then there`s Robbo`s long throws.

He wins quite a lot of headers at corners etc but usually they end up off target.

Guessing James must be carrying some kind of knock. Odd he’s gone from starting every game to now just being on the bench.

Don't forget Frieser, our own long throw specialist. He can throw it all the way from his hands to the ground.
