thats exactly what I thought and I was pleased to see it. Because we have a young team we are naive, that isn’t a criticism, it just is. we get played far too much by cynical players, gamesmanship, cheating, ‘game management’ call it what you like. We need to get better at it - it’s important if you want to grind out points.

I'll be honest with you, i'd have been delighted if we'd signed him on a short term deal. He has had a decent strike rate in his career. Totally fell for the shithousery though.
I've noticed in recent weeks we've been a lot more streetwise at throw ins, free kicks and at attempted short goal kick restarts. Its not pretty but the grubby stuff is very important.
Good win tonight. Not really bothered how it came about. Looking forward to watching Quest tomorrow. Got to maximise our points haul now with wins against AFC Bournemouth on Friday ( lost 2-3 to Preston tonight) and Wycombe on the 9th ( play Stoke tomorrow) because unless our luck changes this season, something is likely to leg us up when we go to Swillsborough on the 12 th. Having said that, I would absolutely love it, if we could come away with three points after that particular game. We are long overdue a positive result at what has now become "a rust bucket."
