Glad you've got sorted. To be honest it's disappointing games wise, you end up just playing your PS4 games on it. Have only just got the Assassin's Creed Valhalla free upgrade cause that wasn't working and FIFA 21 upgrade to PS5 is tomorrow. Best thing to do if you have a spare portable hard drive is to stick that on. There's only just over 600GB of storage which won't last long. You can only install PS4 games to it but it keeps them altogether, save the main storage for the PS5 games. There will be a future update that will allow additional external storage for the PS5 games
To be fair mate my son only plays fortnite and FIFA 2021 so probably won’t effect him storage wise . He’s only 5 haha but kept asking for it from Santa so me being a soft get gave in . Now because he’s got the PS5 I get to buy a new UHD TV to go in his play room has I’ve explained to wife without a UHD tv you won’t see the benefit haha
Haha bit OTT for a 5 year old and I doubt he'll notice the difference with HDR . To be honest I had mine connected to my HDR TV in the other sitting room and ended up moving it to my 4k non HDR TV as it makes things quite dark. Games don't allow you to change brightness then so you end up having to mess with the TV settings, was expecting it to be much better.
Yes miles over top I agree. But after this year I just thought bugger it we will give what he wants .
I managed to get the new Xbox the other day for my sons Xmas . They appear to be as rare as rocking horse shhhh it!
Which uns better, I waiting til the summer but I'm historically an xboxer. All the reviews have them neck and neck apart from the xbox has slightly better graphics. Graphics for't 90s kids.
You do right, I'm sure he'll enjoy it and you . My new purchase after Christmas will be a new 85" TV to replace the older 4k one, just starting to look
I've got the PS5 but will buy the Xbox too. I used to be all Xbox and hated the PS4's dashboard. Ended up moving to PS4 Pro because it was 4k. They say on paper the Xbox is faster but it has had some performance issues with graphic hungry games like Assassin's Creed. They just added an option in the games update this week to swap between graphics or performance which makes a difference
I got a used Xbox one x for the little un. All boxed n that, looks as new. He’ll be well chuffed. He’s only 6 and he’ll have no idea about the Series X...well, until first day back next year, when the posh little f.cuker in his class goes “oh I got a series x”
Yeh there will always be one, he'll love it I'm sure. I've got the original Xbox One, not the X. To be honest there's not a massive difference in the graphics and I'm definitely not blown away by the PS5, don't even think it's as good as some of the older games I've played on my PC
