What happened at Millwall yesterday was a disgrace and a real embarrassment for the club itself. Unfortunately, I agree with Djanjo, it will happen again at different clubs and possibly here when more fans are aloud back. The daft thing is, if players weren’t still taking the knee this wouldn’t have happened yesterday. Which leads me on to how long are players going to be taking the knee? Surely it’s run it’s course, and judging by yesterday it hasn't changed anything.

I said a while ago it should have been a short term 'impact' thing after it s been going so long it just becomes another pre match ritual.
They are pretty stuffed now though because if they stop it will be seen as giving in to the racists.

Achieves very little. Doesn’t remove it. They need to be confronted. By the majority.

Why do people appear to be resigned to thinking it’s going to happen at other grounds. ? This is Millwall they really don’t care what others think. I think the majority will take heart that it didn’t happen at other matches. And will follow suit.

I think what happened yesterday proves that it needs to continue.

Anything to wean out the racists is fine by me.

yes. We should definitely stop calling out racism or making a stand. That will definitely make racism stop.

I really can’t get my breath.

You can't confront bowing though , not one would hear. So the only way is to drown it out surely?

No, they are rightly getting called out, but going on what other people are saying on social media it won’t be just Millwall. Not sure whats best but I think taking the knee should’ve been short term.

Why would you want to stop something that exposes racists for what they are?

In my 22 years in the same seat on the Ponte end, I've only witnessed racism once.

A couple of seasons ago, a bloke in front of me kept referring to Thiam as 'that silly black c#nt'. I'd vocally asked him what skin colour had to do with anything, but he either didn't hear me or ignored me. I suspect the former, as sadly I wasn't brave enough to challenge him further. He moved seats at half time.

There was a positive to this instance though. @Julian Broddle's Perm's young un turned to me at half time and said, 'he was an idiot wasn't he'. It's good to know that the next generation recognises that this behaviour isn't acceptable.

The first time people are allowed back in stadiums, and they're booing a show of solidarity against racism and discrimination.

If anything, it's an indication that not only does it need to continue, but more needs to be done on top of it.

By stopping now, you're pandering to the racists. You're letting them know that they're winning.
