An @r$ehole, 'famous' for being a sidekick's sidekick, who failed to get the part of his own father's son.
I think he meant Emilia. I hope she disliked Lawrence as I quite like her at least as an actress. No idea what she is like as a person
There's a great comment on there. Essentially agreeing with him, and saying we should just build more hospitals if the NHS becomes overwhelmed. That's right, we should just spend a couple of hours knocking together a few more hospitals. Maybe a day or two training new doctors and nurses. And hey presto, we're back to normal. It's idiots like him that give the hard of thinking a voice.
To be fair, we can build a new hospital in a couple of weeks - look at the Nightingales - but lots of people seemed to miss them mostly being white elephants due to lack of staff. It was a big publicity stunt. There is a separate argument that the structure of the NHS - with larger centralized centres dealing with everything - isn't fit for purpose in a pandemic situation and a different model with smaller, more specialized centres might have allowed (with appropriate precautions) more routine treatments to continue for longer - but the investment needed would be massive, you lose the efficiencies of larger facilities and it is a once-in-a-century event.
