I've watched one game on red button this season which had quite a few camera angles, commentary and replays and was pretty much ifollow on sky. But I've also watched a game where it was just one camera angle, no replays and a commentator who sounded bored. Is there any system to decide which kind of red button we get each time or is it random? And how would you know in advance?
I have sky sports on nowtv via talk talk and just found out I can watch red button games. They are at the bottom of the home page marked up as bonus streams. I think it’s only on certain devices, mines a you view box. I found the info here... https://community.nowtv.com/t5/Everything-Sports/Sky-sports-red-button/td-p/548979#
I have Virgin media and because of unjust rising costs ( in my opinion), I cancelled the Sky Sports package that I was paying for. My son has Sky and very kindly gave me his code to allow me to have Sky Sports and BT Sports on my Apple iPad. Our game was shown on the Sky Sports website as being on the Red button with the Bristol v Blackburn game being the one available to view. As there is no red button facility on my iPad, when scrolling through the menu for a Sky Soccer special type programme, I was pleasantly surprised to see that all tonight's Championship games were available to view. That's the first time I've been aware that such a facility was available. Tonight's game was disappointing as far as fast flowing controlled football was concerned, but we got the right result and the three points. I sincerely hope that we can get our act together in time for Saturday's encounter at Hillsborough. Play like we did tonight and I'm afraid we will lose. Just hoping that the eventual result doesn't end with them getting their "crabby" goal leading to a 1-0 reversal.
Bet that bloke on sky is a great hit at parties, any longer listening to him and I'd have jumped out of the bloody room window
I decided to watch on the red button last night rather than ifollow but reverted back 5 minutes in as the picture was so bad. The images were somehow a bit blurry, the distinction between the players shirts and the grass was unclear and pixellated. It was actually difficult to watch so I hooked up ifollow again and it was much improved. Anyone else find the same thing?
