Fair enough. The main reason I'm going with red button is that I can watch it on the television through my PS4, which my £10 doesn't cover on ifollow without dragging my laptop into the living room and hooking it up through HDMI. I find the picture quality on both to be generally fine, but quite often ifollow drops in quality - and buffers, as you say - which doesn't happen with NowTV.

I honestly wouldn't go on about it if ifollow weren't considerably more expensive. And the Sky/NowTV guy might not want to be there, but at least he's presumably being paid the going rate for doing the job.

(I'd also add that the last time I paid for ifollow I was treated to Mark Crossley, and as far as I'm aware there's no way to work out in advance whether that's going to happen).

Switched from Silk to Firefox and touch wood, seems ok to now.

How heavy is your laptop? Isn’t the whole point of them that they are light and portable?

Haha. Yeah, but this one got a pint of beer spilled on it (by a customer, not me!) so it currently doesn't have a battery and essentially works like a very light desktop. I also don't have spare HDMI cables lying around just for ifollow, so even when it did work it required a surprising and entirely unnecessary logistical effort.

Anyway, the point remains. I always generally got the impression that I was trying to get around ifollow's stupid rules rather than being treated like a paying customer who should be able to watch the match I've paid for however I like. They're always either the most expensive or sole option - by luck or money invested rather than quality of offering - and I think we should expect more.
