I was cursing Woodrow last night thinking he should have passed to Victor earlier and he'd made it hard for Vic to drag the ball into a shooting position, but watching the replays on the website just now, he times the pass to perfection, waiting until the defender had shifted his body around so that there was no way he could get to Vic once he's received the pass.

    Excellent work all round.

Was a better finish than I 1st thought. On the replays the ball is still behind him and his 1st touch sets him up to execute the strike. The important thing here is Victor know exactly what he wants to do before he receives the ball. His 1st touch allows him to open up his body and what a great strike it was - clinical!

He likes the curler into the far corner from the left.

Yes did Radio Deedar have the summariser who couldnt wait to criticise him a couple of games ago - cant remember who it was but hearing eat a nice slice of humble pie would be quite good

Also not only was it a great control and finish - he also managed to stay onside - something we tend not to be too hot on

Every time victor was near the ball it was “he spends most of his time chasing the ball he lost” and other such nonsense. Terrible summariser.

Credit to Herbie Kane whose quick thinking fre kick set up the move.
