I must admit, I've now started wanting the bottom teams to beat the top teams, for the first time for ages in the Championship. Well, apart from one particular bottom team. Rock bottom, in fact.
No they have just been beaten by a team 3rd from bottom. We should really be beating teams like Swansea if we want to remain midtable.
Obviously we all want us to win but I won't be gnashing my teeth if we don't. We look midtable championship to me. We'll win some and lose some. If we win this one it's a great result. If we don't we go again next week. I know if we lose it won't be through lack of effort or want of trying.
I'd take a point, Styles will be a big miss I think. Hopefully whoever comes in can hit the ground running.
It’s probably the nearest we’ll get to a free hit this month. Am not too disappointed to see Styles get a rest, hopefully will do him good for the Huddersfield and Rotherham games. I think Brittain will be needing a week off soon as well, but that would weaken us a lot
It's definitely a free hit for me. That doesn't mean we should roll over and have our bellies tickled though, let's give em a good game and see what happens
Why was it ever a "free Hit"? It's a league, all league games are worth 3 points, we want as many points as possible.
Could be a blessing, he's a young lad and been playing out of his skin at a high tempo. A rest might be good. I'd tell him to spend Saturday in a sauna watching us on ifollow
Free hit for me go there and try and get 3 points no ifs no buts not much to fear in this league we’ve in a position at the moment where we can play freely with no fear. Val won’t be going there for a point he doesn’t do draws
Win or lose, hit the booze! Free hit for me. We are a decent side, but we will lose our share of games along the way. This team and coach have earned the right to our support, win or lose.
Swansea away is a tough gig at the best of times but to travel and then play on the same day is a big ask. Just hope we make a better fist of it than we did at Cardiff. A draw would be an excellent result as far as I’m concerned
Swansea fans are complaining about the state of their pitch, apparently it's in a right state. Osprey play rugby on it and with all the rain it's churned up nicely. Prepare for more hoof ball before you invest a tenner on ifollow
