    Can't say I'm a big fan but he's only 21. Might be worth sending him out on loan for more experience and game time before deciding if he's got a long term future with us.

    I'd only loan him will come good loads of potential. But he may want a permanent not sure Oxford could afford him.

    If we've got a replacement lined up then I think a loan could do him good. He's obviously the kind of player who VI wants, and there are flashes of quality here and there, but I'm not quite sure he's quite up to it yet.

    If we can get back what we paid for him and have a sell on clause I would let him go. For us to evolve and get better you sell those who aren't regular starters (like Thomas) in the hope that a replacement makes a current regular starter a bench warmer.

    Loan him to a league 1 side, watch him tear the division to shreds when he's actually played as a winger for a run of games against lower calibre players. Could be just what he needs to gain confidence and improve his desicion making. Still very young.

    I'd do the same with Schmidt, simoes and possibly halme.

    That would surprise me. There isn't the money around for a permanent deal and he is getting enough cameos with us at the moment to indicate that VI sees him having a future here. I don't think that playing in the front three is his best position, but it does look more as though we revert to 3-5-2 when he has come on in recent games. Still young, so a loan deal maybe, but I wouldn't have thought that young Luke would be looking for a move away. Perhaps VI wants to move someone else into that position and loaning Thomas out would enable that to happen

    I get the distinct feeling that VI doesn't have the the players for the front three that he wants, so he's currently making do with the closest we have. I'm definitely not saying that Thomas doesn't have a future here, but I'm not sure he'll feature as much over the rest of this season if we have a good transfer window.

    Every time he comes on I think, this time, this time he's going to show us what he's got. But every time he's disappointing.

    Still believe the only position for him in the manager's preferred (and let's face it only) system is wing back. He seems to have the pace and the energy, seems willing, I just don't think he's got the composure to play as forward. I don't think you necessarily need it as much to play as a wing back.

    I feel sorry for Thomas, he was signed as a winger then we’ve appointed 2 managers who don’t play with wingers.

    His last few appearances haven'r been that bad imho. Valeriens's seen something though to keep using him. VI got Victor firing, so why not Thomas?
