    Just received this season’s edition and some great stuff in it focusing on the year 1984. The Glavin side, who was Joseph Locke (from Locke Park) and Pit ponies. A great read for those of a certain age.

    In last winter's edition, I spotted a very young Didcot Red in a photo accompanying an article about Mount Tabor Chapel, Wombwell.

    Barnsley Memories is an interesting read.

    I met my wife-to-be that year. She'd been made redundant due to falling car sales caused by the miners strike, and ended up getting a job at the place I worked.

    That bloody Scargill has a lot to answer for... ;)
