Another away game where we've had no joy in the recent past. We've won 3 times at Hillsborough since our last victory in Swansea. 2 draws and 9 defeats since a 3-0 victory in the 4th division, back in August 74. At home this season, Swansea have lost just once (vs Huddersfield) and have the 4th best home record. They've only conceded once in their last 6 home games (in a 1-1 draw with Wednesday). Their games at the liberty have been low scoring affairs, just 9 goals for, and 4 against in 11 games. Overall, Swansea are 13th in the form table (we are 3rd), and appear to go 3 or 4 games unbeaten before losing. As they lost to Derby in mid-week, their form this season dictates that they're likely to try and bounce back. I fancy this to be a difficult game. But ever the optimist, I'm going for a 1-1 draw, with Woodrow on the scoresheet.
Given how we've fared against the other "top teams", I'm gonna be pessimistic and say 2-0 Swansea. If we win though, we'll only be 2 points behind them. Edit: I'd almost forgotten draws were a thing, and I'd happily take one today.
They don’t like playing Yorkshire teams at home so we can keep that going. There’s nothing to be afraid of in this league this year so we can beat anybody.
Heart says 2-1 to us. Head says 2-0 to them. Going with my head so a 2-0 defeat and hoping I am wrong. Attendance 0
