It’s been a difficult game to watch, that has highlighted some of our weaknesses, but at the start of the month, I think most people would’ve seen the last three which we won as the more important games
I must confess to only listening to the first half (and checking the stats). It looks a fairly even game with few chances. We have won a couple of matches like this recently. Is that how you saw things?
As usual, a game too far. Cardiff was same. You can’t play at our intensity, with all these games, and then travel far on a coach and hope for a win. Forgot about it and move on.
Two preventable goals but how many let offs when the Swansea strikers powered past our defenders like they were standing still?
Not to sound like a knee-jerk reaction to a defeat, but if we get a couple of half decent forwards signed in January, we could easily finish in the top half. Victor gives us a different option, and he’s improving every week, but when our other options are Thomas and Miller, it doesn’t exactly fill me with confidence.
Agree, better team in first half with glimpses of nice attacking play with possession but no finish. Game fizzled out second half after second goal.
Very frustrated by Thomas, he's meant to be pacey and like to run at people - but I don't see it enough. Is he instructed to play otherwise?
We had a 15 minute spell of pressure in the first half but no clear cut chances. Swansea were better than us so I've no complaints. Rotating the strikers is fine in principal but our defenders looked absolutely knackered and deserve a rest that they never get .
That was a horrible game in an embarrassing pitch and I think Swansea have become my most disliked team. I’ve watched it without commentary and all I’ve heard is their players squealing after every, and I mean every challenge, particularly Ayew. Only surprise is that Harris isn’t their manager. They’ve plummeted from where they were last season as a football team and I hope they win feckall
