Are you prepared to put £20 up to a local charity if you're wrong Jamdrop? I suspect not.

You've bet against someone else. In order for me to enter the bet, you have to match my bet. I will bet you one thousand pounds that Joe Biden is the next president of the United States and will be inaugurated in January 2021.

Wrong about you being a manipulator and gaslighter? It's right there in your posts casual, there's nothing to bet against.

It certainly isn't! And I pick the games I play.

But if you're betting with anyone else you didn't ought to frame it around the notion of Trump being re-elected - that one's gone!

It is a 'Non est'. M'Learned friend Mr Mansfield will advise you what that means! :)

    You've no chance with that.

Casual Tyke's idea of a bet is to put up £20, lose, then stamp his feet and cry to deny a local charity benefiting from his money.

    That’s not how betting works.
You’ve already made one wager, if you want to have one with anyone else, you also have to accept a risk.
Your current risk is 1:1, if others join in and you don’t up your bet, your bet moves to 1:5, that makes no sense. For the bet to remain 1:1 you have to up your stake.

Why are you denying a homeless charity £20?

Gaslighter? Why would I have any interest in gaslighting you or anyone else on a football message board?

I suspect because you are a lonely, bored person but there could be any number of reasons I suppose.

Are you taking my bet or are you denying a local charity £1000?

I don't stand to gain anything Donny. I would trust you to take the money directly to the charity. I wouldn't ever touch it.

Why have you denied your charity £20 by refusing to pay?

    Marc has won.

It was never about money... Just a matter of principal. So, no I won't be taking your bet Jay.

I will stick to my bet with Marc. Don't worry, the rest of you are off the hook.

The date has gone back three times already. They should have paid up on election night but didn't, then it briefly became 6th of January, then it became 20th of January. Anyone want to take a bet what the next date they'll give will be?

What do you reckon Trump's odds are currently Jay? About 1000/1?

I'll wager a £1 against your £1000 if you want? Surely you aren't suggesting the odds are evens?
