26 and without a club for months. You have to wonder why he's not been picked up when he's available for nowt. Whoever signs him will have to get him up to speed and we've let it be known that's something that's put us off the free agent market as we need someone ready from game 1. It's probably just agent talk.
Cant see us getting this lad and Morris unless we plan on getting rid of at least two of the current options we have.
Very similar to Vaz Te when we took a gamble on him. Both rated very highly as up and comers, but neither reached their potential. Maybe we will have the same effect on Sanogo as we Did on Vas Te, and re-launch his career?
Val might see him as a better back up option than Schmidt or Miller with the potential to improve the team when he's up to speed and settled in.
To be fair, nowhere in the article does it say we're still interested, simply speculation we were in the summer
Anything is a better option off the bench than Miller. And the fact he gets on pitch ahead of Schmidt shows how little VI rates him. We would probably need to shift one of both of them off the books though to free up some wages for Sanogo.
I'd like to think that we'll offload them both if possible and replacements of Val's choice can be signed. Chaplin needs much more pressure putting on his place in the team.
Im not sure why we didnt go for cameron jerome, i know his best years are behind him. However he must be a better option than schmidt or miller, especially the way we intoduce our subs. Im guessing we could have paid a better wage than mk dons to bring him nearer his home.
