Happy new year to everyone and the legend that is Whitey, good luck with the commentary on Saturday,I have got heartburn from drinking Prosecco ,my dad would have said saves you right for drinking a women’s drink,he would not have fit in 2021
Saw Jools and his band in Sheffield. Absolutely fantastic band and guest vocalists. Highspot on his New Year show tonight for me, was the segments featuring Sir Tom Jones. He's my wife's favourite and she always wanted to see him live. Spotted that he was doing an open air one nighter some years ago at Chatsworth House and was lucky enough to secure some last minute tickets. Have to say, it was one of the best and most good humoured live shows I have ever attended. Got talking to three policemen who were positioned near our seats presumably to ensure they were able to nip any bother in the bud. I was pleased to hear them say, that they and their other colleagues who were positioned around the park had not had one single incident to deal with. As the show progressed, it was really good to see the PC's dancing with some of the punters and one in particular allowing a young lass to dance around wearing his Police helmet. Not a single incident of drunkenness all night with everyone being respectful and courteous. Tom sang for what seemed like ages and gave us a night to remember and cherish forever.
Happy New Year Whitey. Thanks for all the great videos yourself and your colleagues provided us fans with. Every good wish to you and your loved ones throughout 2021 and beyond and the same to everyone who posts on the BBS. Let's face it ,the new year hopefully can't be any worse than 2020.
Agree. You often find that with some singers as they grow older, their voice seems to weaken. Not with TJ his range is as vibrant and as powerful as ever. He truly is a national treasure.
Happy New Year @YTBFC, thanks to you and the team for another great compilation video! Best wishes to all on the BBS for 2021. COYR!!
Thank you Whitey, the teams performances and you brilliant recaps have been a ray of light for me having come through a dark period in my life. In June I was diagnosed with the dreaded lung cancer followed that with me having pneumonia. Huge credit to the NHS I was booked in St James at Leeds for operation on the cancer and fingers crossed everything seems to have gone ok. 5 weeks after that operation I was back in hospital this time Pinderfields Wakefield for an operation for Prostate issues. I am slowly getting back to something like normal and I am sure the performances of my beloved Reds have gone a long way in helping my recovery.
