    Mads stepped up in 2020.

Who will fix their place in the first team in 2021?

I think there is a quality player in Sibbick.

Thats my choice I think Sollbaure will move on back home of his own choice and Sibbick will take over his role successfully.

I think there’s a bit of life in Sollbauer yet. Sibbick hasn’t played for a long time, would need a bit of time in the under 23s I reckon.

I’m hoping the established starting 11 is kept together, with likes of victor continuing his progress

Its a good question. I think for us to really push on and compete with clubs who will also try to strengthen we have to make some signings. To do that we have to let some go possibly on loan. This may be a positive situation and give the chance for some players now to get regular game time and come back better players. I think the likes of Moon, Schmidt, Sibbick,Green would benefit from regular games. Also maybe Thomas is the rumours of Sunderland or Ipswich loan are true it may be a good option for us but we would need an option as he has been playing a part on the games. Simoes i think its clear needs to leave. Maybe we need some of the former to move on fully. One thing for sure is if the player has the right attitude, the right application, listens handworks hard, Val will give em a chance.

Sollbaure is one of my favourites, he came because of Struber i think and unless he is on far more money here than he can get elseware cant see him seeing out his career here, is he in his 30s now?

I would love him to stay.

Sibbick though is my choice for a Bfc player to come through this year.

It will be interesting to see what happens with James, Mowatt, Styles, Woodrow, Chaplin, Frieser, these are the players that may leave or be replaced in the current starting 11. Helic and Anderson may also start becoming of interest to other clubs.

Anyway this thread is for emerging players to fix their starting place in the first 11 in the coming year and there is always opportunity to do that.

There has to be a player in Schmidt somewhere to push Chaplin or Frieser for a starting spot. Green also looked to have pace, skill, desire when he started under Stendel.Simeos also has talent.

Have Halme, Thomas, Marsh, Brammall, Moon , Wolfe, Odour, Miller Colliins Kane, Palmer, Simeos got what it takes?

Id written off Adebejo and he is showing signs or is Vics form a flash in the pan or a sign of whats to come?

I would go for Dominik Frieser. His record is very similar to that of Jacob Brown at Stoke so he's doing alright for someone far less used to English football. I think he's only going to get better and the goals will come. His long throw is a good asset but shouldn't be over used.

Waltons improvement came all of a sudden for me. Collins has been on that back of a few drubbings but is good with his feet and has pulled off some decent saves so hope he can start giving Walton a push for the no 1.

I class Styles as already cemented his place in the team now. Simeos I thought he would be there now but looks to be going backwards.

I’m hoping one or both of Marsh & Brammall come good. We haven’t produced a top quality striker since David Hirst and I think both, from the snippets I’ve seen, could flourish in a front 3.
