    I think the fact I'm disappointed with this is a sign that we've come along way from the start of last season. Just hope there won't be a firesale this season and we keep building on to progress further.

    In reality, there are teams we will struggle to compete against in respect of quality.
    Gives an idea of where we need to be.
    1-0 away to league leaders is no disgrace.

    Completely get this, I was disappointed by the result, but there was nothing to be ashamed of in that performance. If we had taken our chances in the first half it may have been a different result.

    The frustration for me was that mostly we just aimlessly pumped up the ball in the air, wherever we got possession of it. The ball spent half the game above the snowline, yet on the very few occasions we decided to play it on the ground we looked a bit dangerous, as in the last seconds when Helik should have scored.
    Palmer did at least try to keep it down and played a couple of astute passes, Victor looked a handful, but both Schmidt and Woodrow had zero service in the second half and the Norwich defence dealt with the high ball aerial threat easily.
    Why does Val insist on playing like this? We don't have a Keiffer Moore to aim for!

    However, we move on....

    Thought we did pretty well overall.
    We are now in a great position with a couple of weeks to hopefully strengthen in the areas we need to and go again!

    The difference today was an attacking midfield player, who Arsenal are considering a £25m bid for. Everything went through Buendia, and sometimes, there's little you can do about it.

    We did well to minimise the threat of Cantwell, Aarons and Pukki, who are all Premier league players. Buendia was just one too many for us to deal with.

    I know n' without that miss at the end I'd have gone "oh well". That miss at the end made me feel a bit numb about it. I should be clearer expressing my emotions after such defeats. Apologies.

    I wish I'd av' been in kitchen or sumat when they went to Merson at the end. I suppose how disappointed I am now is a measure of how far we've come.

    Personally I wouldn’t rate that as a miss tbh, it just looked like he did his best to get on the end of it but came up a gnats short
