    it was gripping nevertheless and certain scenes were distressing to say the least however the bravery of the people responsible for the clean up has to be admired

    I studied Chernobyl for my NEBOSH Dip 2, along with other disasters like 'Three Mile Island' and 'Piper Alpha'. The mechanics and sequence of events is very accurate but what you don't learn is what this series shows very well. That's the political aspects and the despicable treatment of Legasov.
