Aliens landing is more likely than Trump being elected president again.

At least the aliens have a theoretical chance of happening!

Put your money where your mouth is - you can buy units of this for 6 cents and it pays out a dollar if he's president in Feb. Surely it's free money for you? https://ftx.com/en/trade/TRUMPFEB

I know what you mean but it’s a pretty concrete take in my opinion. When speaking to Democrat voters it isn’t a love for Biden, or Biden appeal, and Trump received the most votes of any incumbent President in history I think?

The phenomenal turnout has broken all kinds of records. Many of which probably need turning a blind eye to in years to come as it was such a one off election.

With respect to you, I don't really buy that reasoning. "Least worst option" doesn't buy you that kind of turnout and vote. There has to be a large positive view of a candidate to generate that type of outcome in my opinion.

Yes indeed. But not large-scale evidence. Nor even a scintilla of evidence? You'd think, wouldn't you that with the power of the presidential office behind these claims, and with the money to hire the most expensive legal brains there might have been just a grain, just a mere speck of evidential dust? But wait, not even politically-appointed state or federal judges could find enough of a trace of evidence to so much as entertain these claims. They were all but laughed out of court. And the objectors to the official tallying of the result are set to be outvoted by senators from their own party, so baseless are the claims. So Trump's only hope now lies in a military coup. Except that there are no signs that the Police or military would back him - in fact quite the reverse.

But be assured Mr Casual, I will not be berating you when, at the end of this week this nonsense has all been dampened down! But nor will I be congratulating you should the vile orange one somehow still hold the reins of power. Without any reasoning for your opinion you are making nothing more than a guess. And we need better than that!

He isn’t wrong on that. Biden isn’t loved by a good chunk of his voters. Not as bad as Hillary but Trump is the most hated president in history. A lot of the 80 million people didn’t vote for Biden, they voted against Trump. I know registered Republicans that voted for Biden. I know people that voted for Trump in 2016 that voted for Biden. Not because they like Biden, but because they can see what Trump is and what he’s doing. No matter who was in blue, they’d have got the most votes in history.

It is however disingenuous to say that nobody voted for Biden, at the end of the day he won the democratic primary, so democrats did vote for him there. I do think a lot of those just voted for him as they saw him as the best chance to beat Trump, though. In retrospect I think if Bernie is the candidate it’s even more of a democrat landslide, but the result is what most of them voted for anyway, Trump is gone. I do think Bernie would have been a better president though.

I don't doubt there was a large anti-Trump element, but it simply flies in the face of reason to deny that there must have been a substantial pro-Biden element to the vote as well, in my opinion, given that record turnout. "Least worst option" doesn't get you over that line, in my view. Furthermore, I think we both know that Bernie wouldn't have got the vote share that Biden got, which reinforces the view that there must have been substantial positivity towards Biden within the votes cast.

I think Bernie would have got a much higher vote share than Biden to be honest. The GOP ran the same “My opponent is a communist” nonsense anyway and it stuck just as well as it would have done with Bernie against them. Bernie was far more loved than Biden and that would have brought more on side.

Biden isn’t loved at all, not to the same level that Trump is. But Trump is FAR more hated than he is loved. There’s been protests in major cities almost every day of his presidency. That’s the kind of hate that causes mass turnout against you. Nothing to do with Biden. Any candidate would have beaten Trump here. Possibly with the exception of Hillary again. She’s very hated, too.

I have better things to do with my time than spoon feed you evidence that you don't want to see Orsenkaht. With a minimal amount of effort you could find election venue security camera footage of batches of ballots being repeatedly fed through the voting machines. You could find footage of windows being boarded up to stop the fraudulent activity inside from being witnessed. You can see security videos of additional ballots being produced from beneath tables in wheeled suitcases after everyone was told to leave due to a leaking toilet in an adjacent building. You could find videos of cyber security experts giving testimony that they have successfully remotely hacked into voting machines during the Georgia Run-offs despite the fact that the the machines aren't legally permitted to have internet accessibility. You can find videos of data experts explaining how the combinations of first and surnames within certain age groupings is statistically impossible, or at best ridiculously improbable. You can find evidence that the number of unfolded, pristine mail-in ballots received exceeded the numbers sent out by tens of thousands. You can also find evidence of dead people and minors who were allowed to vote in certain key swing states due to conveniently relaxed voting regulations. There are numerous others but I can't be arsed to list any more.

Alternatively, you could continue to tell yourself that this evidence doesn't exist and that it is being purely fabricated by Trump and those despicable Republican Senators who have the audacity to challenge a fair Election result. To be honest, of the two, this would certainly be my preferred option for you and my other liberal chums because it will make the outcome on Wednesday (or whenever it concludes) all the more amusing to me if it catches you completely cold.

As for whether the Military will back him.... I'm guessing you didn't watch the footage of the reception Trump received when he entered the stadium at the recent Army/Navy American Football match? (Again, that could be easily found). I suspect that your theory that they wouldn't back him will be put to the test within the next week though. When Trump wins and the ANTIFA/BLM goons start smashing the country up again I expect that Trump will need to invoke the Insurrection Act and that the armed forces will be called upon in large numbers to swiftly restore law and order in the usual Democrat-controlled cities.

In the meantime, I will be looking forward to watching how events play out on Wednesday. Having said that, I'm still half expecting that Biden will concede the election before then (which I would personally find a bit of a disappointing 'damp squib' of an ending).

Anyway.... I will be back to discuss Wednesday's events with you on Wednesday evening.

Hi everybody. Just found out the British Museum are planning an exhibition called ‘The Weirdest Threads in Internet History.’ They want this one as the centrepiece. So when - or if - it ever ends I’ll pack it up and send it off to them. Cheers.
