One day. Gone into Barnsley with Ellie. To get a ticket for Man City away in FA cup.mam wants oven bottom cakes. Down away car park, let her off lead & she sprints to open gate west north end at Oakwell straight to pitch & full lap. Faster than I could chase. Had a pickle or two. Came back with a whistle. Then I got a bollocking from Norman Rimmington.
This is our Odin taken 2 months ago. He’s not as mobile now so can’t take him on to the field next to our house.
This is Flynn with his best friend Teagan (under the pile on) Teagan (or Tigs to her family) is 8 and Flynn is 3. They are the 5th and 6th Red Setters we've had. Fantastic, playful, loyal and just great to be with.
Beryl, she’s a rescue. We had her DNA done, she’s a beagle jack russell, corgi and Alsatian with a bit more... Still nervous of most people due to the lovely people she was with before us. But coming around well. Had her for about 28 months.
This is Gylfi our Norwegian Elkhound. Three years old and in the words of the daughter a complete ********. But that is the breed. (the starred word, damn swear filter, is Mr Richard Head) Yes named after Mr Sigurddsonn, cos footballers is a bit of tradition in the house. The cats are Heskey (obvious) and Brady (after Robbie Brady) - both girls And this is Pippa, our rescue, enthralled by BFC on the tele. Not sure of breed but there is definitely a bit of Husky in there.
Here's Max Or his official kennel club name Max in a million Although I think he prefers to pretend to be a parrot. As he is always perched on my shoulder
Gracie is Rusty's mother. We were only going to get Rusty as a puppy, but Gracie had completed her four breeding rounds and was surplus to the breeder's requirements. She took a shine to me and I took a shine to her and they all lived happily ever after.
