Good points. I guess the division is already happening with the rise of Parler as the far right social network of choice. Perhaps banning him isn't the answer but I think censoring some of what he said was justifiable.

surprised you are sympathetic to terrorists. Did you have a little man cry when osama was killed?

No mate he’s on the red Rec playing skins and tops goalie when needed. He says can he have his tin foil hat back when you have a minute

I don’t think I have his tin foil hat but I have plenty of spares so I can certainly lend him one if he’s lost his.

I'm not criticising anything you've said. I don't know the answer. I'm pulled this way and that all the time on this because I don't believe in censorship, but I think this particular individual should be censored, and I can't marry those two conflicting thoughts. The only reason I've interjected is that I thought Loko was getting a rough ride over something he wrote in good faith, that I believe in, and the fact that Trump subsequently acted abominably isn't his fault or something that he could foresee.

There are died in the wool Republicans, who voted for Trump in the election, who have subsequently been appalled at what has occurred. As much as I disagree with their politics, they're not all bad people and it isn't their fault that a political party they believed in has betrayed their trust so spectacularly. For those of us that are anti-Trump, all this hasn't come as a great surprise, but a lot of decent Americans are completely lost at the moment. Everything they believed in (law and order, accepting personal responsibility, working hard to achieve their goal, accepting defeat and coming back stronger) has been destroyed in the last few months. This is millions of people who have preached it their whole life and that's not a good place for a nation to be in. Feeling disenfranchised because the opposition to your political beliefs are in power is one thing, but you know you have a chance to change it. Feeling as though you no longer have a voice because those you have always voted for betray your values far more than the people you've been arguing against all your life... that's scary.

The problem is that he is supported in his pro-Trump views by a member of Admin.

    Do you think that's true?

Genuine question. You're very articulate, which suggests you're also very intelligent. Do you think the member of site admin you refer to believes the stuff casual tyke is spouting? I'll nail my colours to the mast and state I don't think that is true (I'm not even sure I believe casual tyke does).

Thats extremely unfair and uncalled for. Show me where I’ve even once come close to supporting any of the things being shared in this last six weeks? It’s getting ridiculous now.
