    I'd like to think members of the wider football community have bought tickets to help them out. I had a quick look on the spurs forum to see if they'd discussed it. Wow, disrespectful is not the word! Although judging by many of the replies, I'd be surprised if any of them have ever set foot inside a football stadium.

    I hope Marine sneak a win.

    Marine is .5 mile from my girlfriends house, theve stopped people climbing the adjacent lamp posts, the next door street occupiers have been approached by strangers wanting to view the game from their bedrooms lol.....great for the local community but could have been better, I guess if they had been allowed a crowd the game would have been switched to Goodison or Anfield, The Everton manager lives in Crosby and has said he will show Jose around, he loves it so much

    They interviewed Chairman other day. At that point theyd sold 5500 virtual tickets. Record attemndance is 6000. They wanted to break that but that's outstanding. Selling virtual programmes and mascot packages aswell. Can't blame them.

    Just heard there's 'spectators' at the match today. 2 sides of the ground apparently have Victorian terrace houses looking into the ground. Netting up to stop balls landing in gardens. They'll be up on ladders etc. Also Marines manager usually get passed a sausage sarnie thro from a garden on matchday

    Up to 20,000 virtual tickets now, including Alan Shearer and Ian Wright. Great effort by the footballing community to replace the lost revenue of a club, who rely so heavily on days like today.
