    I wouldn't have thought so. I honestly think he's waiting to see offers from elsewhere before making a decision, and hasn't had a good enough offer from elsewhere yet.

    I would not be giving him any ultimatums , he is a model pro who keeps his own council , it might be better to hang on to him & that gives us more time to strike a deal & if not we get the use of a class act who owes us nothing until the end of the season , if we start pushing him & making demands it might just make is mind up for him, with a negative outcome , Val seems optimistic that he will re sign so I would just let it ride out .

    He may wait until the end of the season. When he's out of contract his new club can up his wage substantially because they won't be shelling out on a transfer fee.
