    Sharing a ground somewhere else doesn't make sense because Lee and his people would make more money from Barnsley FC playing at Oakwell even if they don't own Oakwell, then they would from playing somewhere else that most fans won't go watch us at.

    Nah I wouldn’t go to another towns football ground unless Barnsley are due to play away. Barnsley FC is oakwell or nothing for me. (Unless we had decided to build a new ground in Barnsley) but ideally I would never want us to leave Oakwell.

    Whilst fans are not allowed in it may make economic sense. They're paying a fortune in rent to Barnsley Council and there appears to be no progress on their purchase attempt. Rotherham could undercut Barnsley Council by 50% and make a few bob for themselves whilst the consortium save a fortune. Different story when fans are allowed but we could be heading for a Coventry situation. It could also be the consortium trying to bluff the council into either reducing the rent or selling.
