Tend to agree, he is very poor. Also he gives away fouls against opposition defenders far too often. He's not dirty, he's just out of his depth. Would be interesting to see how many fouls he commits each game.
He had a nightmare tonight and I didn't like his dive at the end or the dissent shown to the officials at full time. Head turned?
Why? We've had plenty of good strikers of all types and never paid £5m+ Our starting front 3 look like they've never met each other we just need someone with a bit of nous and composure to link them together, maybe Woodrow would be your £5m+ striker then.
This thread, and the boll ox regarding Woodrow, is a good example of why sometimes after a defeat it’s just a good idea to close the computer and go to bed.
How many have Deeney and Gray combined scored from open play this season? Woodrows the least of our worries, we need to give him support and forwards that he can play off.
Deeney has only just come back from.injury and gray has gone after tonights showing. It was a genuine question wasn't having a go.
Your argument would have legs if He was missing chance after chance He wasn't getting in good positions He was strolling about with no effort but I don't think any of those things apply. We aren't creating many good chances at the moment, however, when we do I hope its CW on the end of them.
Cauley no better or worse than Victor Connor. Watford a low level premier league team just picked us off. Uncharacteristic mistake from C Britain cost us.
I think two's the answer though and they've played 26 games between them. For me Chaplin doesn't have the quality or composure and Vic, Schmidt, Freiser probably aren't good enough so that Leaves Woodrow who clearly can't do it on his own.
I agree about the rest but cauley was awful tonight and hasn't scored many goals from.open play this season. Can't blame the others around him because last season he had a good season before lockdown.
