I have always backed Chaplin as a striker up until this season, sadly I don't think he's good enough at Championship level.
I think the same applies with Victor too, he's had chances but not taken them.
I think we should play Morris and Woodrow up front, and I would like to see Odour play out wide as a winger in front of Styles. He can take people on and has pace, He would put some good crosses in for our strikers which is what we are missing.
I know people will disagree with me but give him a chance in that position and let's see what happens.

The reason Chaplin keeps getting picked is that he plays in the way that VI's 3-4-3 system demands. He is mobile. He closes down defenders quickly. He defends from the front. 3-4-3 is a strongly defensive system because the whole team defends, and that comes first. If the primary aim was for Chaplin to score goals, he would play central in a front 2 next to a target man. But he doesn't. He plays slightly wider, in a front 3 and he works his nuts off. Posters keep blaming the players, but look first to the system, which asks them to do other things.

Bless him, poor little mites got to run about about a lot for 60 mins and maybe even try to score occasionally.
I personally think his confidence is low because he's gone from missing plenty of chances to not even looking like scoring anymore.
