for anyone interested or not already got the flash scores app is superb it tell you all games kick off times, any sport any team, squad players etc and free. If you select Barnsley it pings when there's a score etc.

Only problem with these type of apps is they often ping the goal before the streaming service I’m watching.
To the point where; when I’m in the ground I’m sometimes puzzled when I see a goal, that I haven’t been forewarned.

I find it to be the best sports results and info app. I do turn the notifications off when watching a match tho, cos like u say, it's instant and does update quicker than what you're watching, especially on ifollow!

I agree, it's really quick and you need to turn the updates off before the game starts. I forgot against Swansea away and it pinged me their goal before the game had even kicked off on my Ifollow stream! :)

I get that with the BBC App. I have to remember to put my iPhone into "Do Not Disturb" mode before kickoff.

In flash scores, you can turn those notifications off.

I prefer futbol24, but there are a number of similar apps that get their feed from the same places.

I use the app for notifications. However, I find Sky Bet is usually quicker for goal notifications.
