Greenhouse repairs...?

Need at least a couple of panes of glass replacing in our old greenhouse thanks to recent snow etc.

Grateful if anyone can suggest someone who would do the job for us at Pogmoor.

 

Don't know about doing the job but I've repaired my 2 allotment ones over the years. Glass cut at Barnsley Glass top of Brinkman St. If you need spare clips they're available from hardware stores. One at four lane ends in Mapplewell deffo sell them. If not just use some clear silicone.

 

Grateful.....quite an awkward job this time so not fancying doing it myself.

 

But them oyls have let art some greenhouses gases hey.

Edit. Just seen Pogmoor. I can sort it for you.

 

Get greenhouse glass. It’s much cheaper as best quality is not needed

 

Make sure that you do not have a crack in your glasses.

 

whats wrong with a plastic sheet ?

Or resist the urge to throw any stones whilst inside. Some advice I once heard anyway. Not sure if it checks out...

 

i heard that years ago some unscrupulous little sod did all the bus shelters on laithes lane of the perspex covering the adds on the sides, cut them to size and clear siliconed them into his 2 greenhouses, smashing crop of tomatos, peppers and chillies

 

I used to go out with a girl from Warner Ave and she was handy with her hands.
