    One of those rare players who would get you excited every time he got the ball. Always gave his all for us too. Great memories.

    A superbly talented player who found his best form during his time with us. One of those occasions when player and club are made for each other.

    We loved Adam and he clearly loved the Reds.

    Amazing player and lovely man too; he made my daughter’s day when he wrote to her at her school, she was over the moon. His goals weren’t bad either!

    I'm now in my 40s, but when he played for us and when he was at the top of his game, he made me feel like an 8 year old. He was so exciting to watch.

    In the 50 years I’ve been watching this Club, I’ve never seen a player make the impact that he did when we were bottom of League 1. Truly outstanding. Completely turned our season around and made it one of the best in my time following the Reds. Happy Birthday Adam - and many more of them.

    I love him. Responsible for so many great memories.

    That season was incredible, I’ve never felt as confident going to games. I never for a minute thought it was possible for us not to win the play offs.

    I can only assume it’s how Barca & Real fans felt like watching Messi & Ronaldo play for their clubs knowing they’ve always got that bit of magic in them.

    I just hope he’s doing well. I’ve read rumours about his off the pitch struggles & he doesn’t appear to be with the mother of his kids anymore. It’s not worked out for him at Scunny or Stockport & the last I heard he’s playing in Ireland.

    Goal v milwall at wembley my fave ever goal. Awesome. I really enjoyed all those to be fair but adams was special.

    i put money on us to get promoted in decembe when we were bottom of the tae and saw us click. All cam together nicely! Then i backed fletcher and isgrove to score and barnsley win btts i think it was. Paid for my season ticket that off a few quid. :)

    Would love to see him back at the club in some capacity one day.

    Should surely be inducted to hall of fame/official legend status.
