Gone from 90kg and 20% fat to 93kg and currently 18% body fat. 3% more fat to lose is my target at same weight or upwards.
Thinner goes galloping further clear with 8,impressive stuff DEETEE Thankyou for your reply but I am voiding you on the tally as you have gained weight but lost fat and that as thrown out the high powered betting computer I use to work out odds, there are nuts and bolts flying everywhere
Most definitely fatter. And I was already obese this time last year... Still haven’t quite cleared all the christmas chocolate, cheese and booze and I’m not throwing it out, nor binging for the sake of it. Mostly gone now though, some dregs of celebrations left and one last uncut cheese. It’s a waxed one from a gift set, the label has fell off but it’s green so I’m assuming maybe a herb/garlic cheddar... Diet is on the cards after that. I’ve a knackered knee after catastrophic injuries in a car crash (and several mainly unsuccessful operations), so can’t really exercise much, over and above walking short distances, so my only way of losing weight is reducing calorie intake. Tough ask when you’re a greedy ******* (though when I talk to friends I don’t think I actually eat much more than them, if at all) who doesn’t really do veg... But for the sake of my health, and given I have kids, at least 15-20% of my body weight has to go. I gain weight so easily due to my (forced) very sedentary lifestyle. I’ve done it before, dropping timber I mean, more than once - in fact I lost nearly 5 stone last time - but I couldn’t (or at least didn’t) ever keep it off and weigh more now than I ever have. Well I assume so, I’m certainly bigger than I’ve ever been before. I’ll not weigh myself until I’m ready to start sorting it. Being at home constantly did not help me whatsoever. Though on New Years Eve my old job (which had been home based since April) ceased to be, I’ve done a few weeks unemployed, and start a new job next Monday. Out of the house, in a big building, so regular walking whilst there will help me, as will having the focus of a new job help me with the food thing too.
Fatter. I was doing really well initially but almost a year without the gym now has taken its toll along with ordering at least 3 or 4 takeaways a week in an effort to support local business that I wouldn't ordinarily.
My chart over the last 12 months. Fluctuating but on the downwards curve at the moment and determined to push on. I am a good 1.5 stone lighter than this time 2 yrs ago so long term improving. Need to up the pace again now as I did manage to lose approx 4 stone, put 3 back on, my proper nemesis in life. Hoping by May this year I'll be able to get back to where I managed before. Then I just need to push further and harder.
Initially I put on a bit of weight, due to snacking and eating more during the first and up to the second lockdown. However, since about November I've made a conscious effort to get even more exercise (I always tried to do 10, 000 steps) and so I'm up to an average of 15, 000 steps recently. Hence I'm back down to the weight I was.
Eating more but lucky iam walking fours hours a day with my job or i dread to think what i would put on.
Thinner, but only just. I had jeans I couldn't fit into back in March. However I can just about fasten them now. I think I lost a fair but of weight in the first few weeks when I wasn't working. I was doing a lot of walking and running. I definitely piled that back on over Christmas though.
Put on 1 half stones in 3 months of lockdown up to over 13st. Terrible combination of stress, chained to desk / living room for hours on end per day, drinking and snacking more and drinking. right laugh. Slowly getting back to ‘normal’ now having reversed half of the above weight, and changed the lifestyle choices
I weigh more or less what I did this time last year. I put on a half a stone in Spring last year but managed to lose that plus some, unfortunately over the last few months that loss has disappeared. The current disappointment is that I’m not drinking in January, usually that’d lose me half a stone, this year virtually nothing. Probably down to being trapped in the house all day, when I’m at work I’d do some hilly walking just to get to / from the office.
About same , that’s with doing about 4 bootcamps a week , walking 10k steps every day and I did 3 months off booze too last year . Can’t get below 14 st , love my food too much . So next step is to reduce portion sizes
