Why wasn't her pre Christmas priority to get him vaccinated. Surely that would come before any kind of holiday.

The news I read said he had tested positive for Covid but was being treated for pneumonia so who knows if it's as a result of his trip or Covid it all. Regardless wish the man well.

Went from a very cold country to a very warm country and back to a very cold country. That will take some getting used to for a centurion.

    This made me chuckle.

If you mean people still suffering from lockdowns (as in still being in them) then I completely agree, they shouldn't be going abroad just because they've had a vaccine if others are still under restrictions. If you mean that all restrictions will have been lifted but people will still be suffering from mental health problems and financial difficulties, that arose due to them, then I don't see why no-one can have a holiday for years.

There are 14 punctuation marks that are commonly used in English grammar. They are the period, question mark, exclamation point, comma, semicolon, colon, dash, hyphen, parentheses, brackets, braces, apostrophe, quotation marks, and ellipsis.

surely it should just be sending my best wishes Hannah, otherwise it does look as though he's signing off with his name?

You should put a comma before (or after) addressing someone. It's called a vocative comma.

Based on the comma rules in the proofreading course I am doing, his comma usage is correct:

Rule 8. Use commas to set off the name, nickname, term of endearment, or title of a person directly addressed.

    Examples:
Will you, Aisha, do that assignment for me?
    Yes, old friend, I will.
    Good day, Captain.

I think due to it being Twitter that formal letter writing norms aren't used and most folk would take it as a signature but you are correct @JamDrop

Signature would normally be after a full stop not a comma, right?

I think it's because people often sign off with best wishes as a salutation so your mind automatically jumps to that. I just thought it was funny that someone who was sad enough to point it out was wrong. If he was signing off he'd have probably put 'Sending my best wishes, Hannah. Love, Matt.' Or something similar in place of 'love'.

3 movies and 2 meals and you're done.
Or 2 movies and a nap.
    It flies ;)
