I wouldn't say walking back, just emphasising that it's a loan first and foremost. I don't think there's any reason to doubt that a clause exists.
Not sure if this was posted anywhere, but an interview with somebody from Orlando City. I don't think they sell very cheaply in the MLS.
I like his comments about getting fans back safely. Hopefully that will be everyone together from day 1.
So you're confirming there is an option to sign him or not? The whole thing doesn't seem transparent.
Someone will find one Gordon. Someone is bound to find one. Give 'em £1m, some will complain there's not £1m and a penny. That's life. That's football.
You stated Dane was 'walking back the option' in this latest article, and so I posted the announcement article from 5pm yesterday, which clearly uses the same wording/terminology. So there is no 'walking back'. The BFC announcement article says there is an option to purchase. Orlando's version of Dane Murphy in a recent video confirmed there is an option to purchase.
I reckon you might be right re the option. There might not be an option. The whole thing is so transparent its frightening. We need more detail. We don't have enough detail. In fact, now you mention it, I reckon we've not signed him. It would then be logical to assume that an "option to buy" clause does not exist. That definitely explains Dane's moon walking back. It's a disgrace. Fake news.
Well, I'm sure we'll definitely sign him, then, and our claim there's an option isn't disingenuous. Thanks for clearing that up.
There's an option to but. It says so in the official statement and the Orlando boss confirmed that one exists. What more do you want? They're not going to tell you the fee. That's bad business.
Can't see anything to be negative about. There are only 2 questions and I doubt either can be answered yet. 1. Will we want to buy him? 2. If we want him, could we afford him?
