That was really difficult. Not helped by my mouse going mental and forcing me to pick some Burnley player I'd never heard of, reading Fabinho as Firminho, and spending 20 seconds trying to figure out why I couldn't click midfielders in the filter before realising I'd already chosen my five.

I've already had to make two transactions!

 

Select your first 11 for the games this weekend and see what happens, or if you think you cocked up a signing you can transfer in an available player to replace one of yours - go to pick team tab or the transactions tab

 

You pick your team for the weekend just like in the normal game.

In terms of transfers you put those through each week but the priority is given to the team at the bottom of the league each time and works up the league from there for your first transfer.

 

A transaction is a transfer. They call it a transaction because there's no guarantees it will go through. Right now though you can chop and change as much as you want with any of the players available. I've been switching two or three back and forth trying to land on something I think my actually get me points.

 

I didn't realise it was a Head to Head league. That makes a lot of sense.

I've easily got the worst strikeforce out of all 16 teams. Barry Conlan would likely walk in to this side.

 

Neither did I. Be interesting to see how that works out. Annoyed to be one of the last pics. There are around 10 stand out players but when you get to 14 they have all gone. So have a fair few good players but no one likely to get 20 points in a game

 

Not sure I agree there though. I was first so got Fernandes but then I had to wait 31 picks for another go! You got two picks in the first 19.

Meant I was left looking really poor in a couple of areas

 

Go to league and then select fixtures. Don’t think you can view people’s squads yet until the first weekend is over

 

Getting picks back to back is a nightmare. You just have to zone out for 30 picks because there’s no point trying to plan who you might take as it’s so far away.

Suppose there’s pros and cons to each position and it works out fair overall.

 

Somewhere middle would be ideal around 8th probably the best spot. I had another annoyance in that whoever were 15 and 16 weren’t there so after the first round I was effectively making back to back pics but 4 players went in between. Usually with me losing the one I had in mind for the next pic

Going to be hard to improve the squad or even cover for injuries as with 240 players snapped up there aren’t many left worth signing

 

If you’re doing well you won’t really be able to make transfers but there should be a handful for the bottom four or five teams. Some regular players out there to be taken just zero strikers for anyone.

I took two goalkeepers in one of my back to back picks (Allison and Mendy) so I had options as there’ll be no keepers worth taking and virtually all teams will have a spare keeper who has hardly played this season.

 

You can make as many as you want each week BUT you submit what you want and then they’re processed from the bottom of the league up each week. So if you’re doing well you’ll be stuck with the squad you have - no bad thing if you’re doing well.
