I think Norwich will win the league with some to spare. Swansea have 2 games in hand on Brentford in 2nd place so I fancy runners up spot to be either them or Watford. Brentford for a play off place IF they can halt the losing run. Bournemouth and Reading both to slip out of the top six and be replaced by Cardiff and one other, but it could be one of 3 or 4. What’s everyone’s predictions?
Can see Bournemouth and Brentford dipping out. Just a feeling......... Edit - V I is 6 in Roman numerals so by that logic we''ll sneak in and go up via Oakwell South
Reading will be the ones from the Top 6 who will drop out IMHO. Look at the last 24 games form table posted on here the other day. Reading are mid table.
Norwich, Watford, Swansea, Brentford, Cardiff, Bournemouth...... Our friends at S6 will miss out on the final playoff spot on goal difference and 40 points
Despite Ainsworth's constant optimism I don't think they have any chance of surviving. Brum, Weds, Rovrum seem to be the most likely so any two from those three. The first two for preference, obviously.
Seen one report saying that the five substitute rule gives us the edge over those above us. Val uses it to refresh half a team at a time ,keeps us able to press for longer.
I think we need to catch either Reading or Bournemouth. Hopefully Cardiff can't keep this up? Boro and Stoke will be there or thereabouts too. Tough to predict! Hopefully Woodgate is a car crash
Think we may fall just short - see Warnock and McCarthy getting their teams a little closer than us. Bournemouth without an inspiring manager may be catchable as are Reading. Still think Boro and Cardiff are the two more likely candidates. Nice problem to have though.
Any of the top ten places will be a successful season for us. Top six would be fantastic but we are really going to have to score more goals to make that happen.
Norwich top with Swansea second. Playoffs made up of Brentford, Watford, Cardiff and one other. Us? Bournemouth? Boro? Relegation for Wycombe, Birmingham and then either Rovrum or Wednesday. Loads of twists and turns left, which is why I’ve sat on the fence with the last positions.
Leave em alone, the poor ******** have enough on their plate......wait a minute what am I on about????? Carry on.
I’d love to see Wycombe stay up. Nice club with **** all money and real triers in some of the games I’ve seen, but sadly won’t have enough. Birmingham flirted with relegation last season and haven’t improved. Rotherham also for me. I think Wednesday will pull away just enough sadly.
