Now we know theres no games this season at all for fans. Would now be a good time for club to release next years season ticket information Doing well and possibility of Premier League Football. We may sell more now Just a thought
Taking redundancy next month, so I get my Saturdays back and planned to get my first season ticket since 1982!! Hopefully we'll be allowed in.... If you want me sat with you, I shall be running an online auction. Lowest bidder wins. No Tories or Brexiteers allowed to bid.
The road map announced today will give all sports clubs real hope of turning a corner. Even if 21st of June doesn't happen for getting rid of social distancing, it surely wouldn't drag on into August, so clubs can pretty safely sell season passes for next season expecting to be allowed their stadiums at full capacity. It would be nice if the feel good factor of that news and our current league form means we hear about prices soon by striking whilst the iron is hot.
Plenty of spare seats going near Nudgers Proud Boys , you’ll need a black and yellow polo shirt though .
A lot of folk will be feeling the pinch tbh. Job security is going to be a massive headache for too may next year.
I'd happily buy another one at the moment given all the factors involved. However if they did go on sale soon I hope the club will reserve peoples seats until the back end of the off season to give those struggling as much time as possible to renew if they wish to.
Will we see another discount i wonder? Surely it will be on a par with this season. Having said that i think a lot of people wont renew and not just down Oakwell but at every club.
I think you’re right albeit it will impact us less than other clubs. I think our club has been amazing throughout the pandemic you can tell the club has made an extra effort to engage with the fans and communicate. The uptake of season tickets to support the club was incredible and the way the club conducted itself with refunds etc last season seemed to be pretty good from what I remember see Sheffield Wednesday for the opposite. They’ll lose a big chunk of their fan base. Results on the pitch obviously impact too.
Helpful our pricing is competitive, we have done well supporting the Fans hope we can continue to do so.
Will depend on people's financial situation/ circumstances regarding job security. I would expect to see a price cap from the club. Given that we've only recently welcomed our 3rd child into the world then I sadly won't be in a position to afford a ST even if prices are frozen. I would definitely use the 4 game flexi if it is still on offer (think they said up to 2 seasons) but will wait and see what comes out of the club.
