I've not seen it back but I didn't think he was in real time. Had the ball gone straight through from Mowatt he definitely would've been on but the touch on its way through put him off I thought. Like I said though, I've not seen a replay.

Was a fine finish from him. He played well tonight. I've criticised him a bit before so only right that I praise him for tonight.

Posted this earlier. But he was just off by my reckoning. If both he and the defender were leaning the other way he'd probably be on. Fine margins.

I thought he was onside as well, but it’s what we expect to happen

Same as last time. the green lines are just the pitch markings extended. The red line is where Frieser is. The Stoke defender is behind the line.

    Maybe this is clearer?

Think of the other lines in the other image as showing my working out for where the lines should be. I thought it was obvious that I didn't think there was anyone at the by-line or penalty box, but maybe not I suppose.

It's a bit difficult to get the lines in relation to the player, but Frieser looks like he's leaning forward so I've put it a little in front of his foot. I put the stokes a bit behind the player because it looks like his knee is bent that way a bit, but I think the actual decision is further apart than my lines are.
