Good news, just need it to drop to 55+ now!
Be a while though I reckon because next category is 16-64 with underlying health conditions and there are over 7m of them.

And in April 2nd jabs will start to be administered so that will slow it down for the next cohorts.

I had mine done on Saturday morning - I've done nothing but sleep since (or at least it seems that way)

I know a fair few 16+ with health conditions that have already been called for vaccination.

The vaccine minister expects numbers to double up this month, so if that's true we should be finally reaching a million jabs a day on a regular basis.

The 16 to 65 at risk group was group 6. It's moved past that now. It's currently on age 60 and over (group 7). Age 55 and over (group 8) is next up. Hopefully it should be pretty soon.

Other half's second one not til June mind you, so whilst it looks quick, even the 60s are into June.

It's a postcode lottery though. My mam's group 6 and she was told by her doctors in Grimethorpe two days ago when she phoned up (as she's heard about others being done elsewhere) that she was estimated to be called up in May sometime and to just wait until she got a phone call, yet in Bradford they have been doing group 7 for a while. I sent her this link and now she and my dad (group 7) got a booking straight away for one in a few days in Leeds. I'm annoyed that the doctors didn't advise her to try on the nhs site and just told her to wait so that's what she was doing as she didn't know any different.

Had the Pfizer one on Saturday, other than a stiff upper arm 12 hours after the jab, had no issues whatsoever

I had mine Saturday felt no worse than a Flu jab, no side effects or sore arm, carried on as normal then Sunday afternoon cant remember ever feeling that tired, legs felt like lead managed to take the dog out briefly on autopilot and then slept for about 2 hours next day only felt a bit more lively then it finally wore off!
