One of the more pleasing aspects of tonight's game, is that we boosted our goal difference. In a way I'm also pleased we are just outside of the play offs. It eases the pressure on us. Be great if we can win our next two home games and then manage to get something when we play AFC Bournemouth away.
Agree mate. Being outside the play-offs prevents any thoughts of consolidation creeping in before the weekend.
Do you think this team would get complacent? I don’t. We could be 20 points clear at the top with 7 games left and I’d be shocked if we were complacent.
I think this team want to prove themselves to the rest of the league and ultimately showcase just exactly what they are capable of.There is definitely a belief in this team that there’s unfinished business and they all want to push on for bigger and better things.
I think it's clear that big Val is 'a winner'. You don't get to win the Bundesliga with Bayern Munich without having that ruthless mentality. The good news for us is that he's passing that attitude on to this team of young lads
I agree, but it feels even bigger than that to me. The whole club is working incredibly hard, whether it's the box office, the media team, the coaching staff, the players... There's a real sense of professionalism in everything the club does at the moment. It's as if Covid has provided the challenge and everyone at the club has rolled up their sleeves and said, "Ok, lets show everybody how a club should be run." I'm loving following my club at the moment, and it goes far beyond the results or the league position.
Feel the same. No matter where we finish in the league my expectations have been surpassed both on and off the field. There seems a sense of pride in everyone connected to the club. Same on here, everyone has dug in to help others get through this awful time and long may it continue
